At Sandulli Grace, P.C., we have been committed to union member education for over 20 years. Our attorneys have volunteered as faculty members at the Labor Guild of Boston School of Industrial Relations, where rank and file union members and representatives of management come together to take courses in all areas of labor law. Each Spring, Sandulli Grace, PC presents an annual seminar for members of the Massachusetts law enforcement community in conjunction with MASS C.O.P. Past seminars have covered topics like "How to Run A Local Police Union (What You Don't Know Could Hurt) - A Seminar For Massachusetts Police Union Officials And Members" and "Cops Under Attack: Who Protects The Police?" Sandulli Grace, PC is currently working to develop the Spring 2008 seminar. For more information contact info@sandulligrace.com or subscribe to our mailing list. In the meantime, to keep current on issues facing the law enforcement community and labour in general read our blog. In addition to our participation on the Labor Guild's faculty, we give regular educational seminars to our union clients. Whether it's a two hour presentation on collective bargaining to a newly elected three member bargaining committee or a day long seminar on the Fair Labor Standards Act to a standing room only crowd of police officers, we are committed to education. Our staff also participates in the Annual Workshop for Public Sector Labor Relations Specialists, the ADR Practice Group of the Mass. Bar Association Labor and Employment Section, the B.B.A. Labor Committee, Mass. Jobs with Justice, and the Mass. Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild and editing the "Judicial Guide to Labor and Employment Law." |
