Patrick Bryant

pbryant@sandulligrace.com

Patrick Bryant is the youthful member of Sandulli Grace, PC, which he joined in 2002. Prior to joining Sandulli Grace, he served as lawclerk to Associate Justice Barbara Lenk of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

As with several of his Sandulli Grace colleagues, he graduated from Northeastern University School of Law (Class of 2001). At NUSL, he led or participated in student groups on National Lawyers Guild, urban planning, and contemporary legal theory. During this time, he interned for the late Judge Hugh Bownes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in Boston.

Before pursuing a legal career, he worked for several years in the communications field, first as an award-winning reporter for the weekly Columbus Guardian publication (deceased), and then as the public relations officer for the Central Ohio Transit Authority. He also volunteered for several Democratic party candidates and causes in the mid-Ohio region.

Patrick attended Michigan State University, though at a time when it had no noteworthy sports teams. He graduated with a degree in political philosophy and an emphasis on journalism.

When not busy fighting for workers rights, Patrick serves as Music Director and Disk Jockey for WMBR, 88.1-FM, the volunteer community radio station based at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Patrick's colleagues at Sandulli Grace refuse to listen to his weekly radio program.

He lives in Somerville with his longtime partner and wife, Brenda Divelbliss. He denies all rumors that he hypnotized her or used other magical spells (beyond promising her a puppy) to persuade her to marry him. Brenda is a noted modern dance choreographer and teacher. She also is a faculty member of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, on staff with Harvard University's Department of Dance, and a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association. Patrick and Brenda eek out a corner of a condominium from their four cats.

In his spare time, Patrick does not clean up his office.
