We represent our clients aggressively, and have fought battles in the courts, administrative agencies, the legislature, and the streets. We are available to our clients twenty-four hours per day, and our clients often call upon us in emergencies.

The main body of our legal expertise includes contract and interest arbitration, election and unfair labor practice proceedings, and litigation. We have considerable Civil Service experience, which is vital in these hard times when members may receive layoff notices. We are also experts in representing employees who are accused of wrongdoing by those they serve. We also have an active practice representing employees in actions for unpaid overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

In addition to our traditional “servicing” work for our clients, we are active in organizing in both the public and private sector, and have recently litigated representational cases involving novel bargaining unit issues. Of course, our organizing work also leads us to represent our clients in related unfair labor practices. We’ve recently successfully challenged organizing-related discharges in both the public and private sector.
